In San Francisco, LSS provides two primary services – money management services for chronically homeless adults with special needs, and case management services for adults, families and seniors living in supportive housing sites.

All of our clients share a common need for safe, affordable and stable housing, and our programs work towards that goal.  We understand that unless people receive safe, affordable and stable housing, other resources that support improved health and well being cannot be accessed. Most of our clients share a history of long term poverty, which often exacerbates serious mental and physical health issues.

LSS aims to acknowledge each person’s level of functioning, and empower them to live as independently as possible, using a harm reduction philosophy.
