San Francisco Programs Serving Adults

LSS offers supportive housing and services to adults in San Francisco, Solano and Sacramento counties.

In San Francisco, LSS provides two primary services that assist nearly 2,000 adults aged 18 years and older in remaining in stable housing.

  • Money management services for chronically homeless adults with special needs, and
  • Case management services for adults, families and seniors living in supportive housing sites.

All of our clients share a common need for safe, affordable and stable housing, and our programs work towards that goal. Most of our clients share a history of long term poverty, which often exacerbates serious mental and physical health issues.

LSS aims to acknowledge each person’s level of functioning, and empower them to live as independently as possible, using a harm reduction philosophy.
