You Did It: We Really are in the City for Good!

Yes, thanks to people like you, we achieved our fundraising goal of $780,000 for this capital campaign, launched in 2014 when we lost our office lease. You made it possible to renovate our new office space at 191 Golden Gate Ave. and remain in San Francisco, where LSS has had a presence since 1883.

Nearly 1,800 formerly homeless and disabled individuals are safely housed because LSS of Northern California is still in San Francisco - that is no simple feat. Because of the tech growth of the Mid-Market corridor, many non-profits that support at-risk populations in San Francisco have struggled to stay in the city.

When rents rose, LSS found an opportunity to be even closer to our at-risk clients. We moved to our current location at 191 Golden Gate, in the heart of the Tenderloin, which is located between St. Anthony's Dining Room and Kelly Cullen Community for chronically homeless individuals.

We are forever grateful to the generosity, compassion and commitment of the individuals, congregations, corporations and foundations that supported us. Because of people like you, LSS can continue to bring hope to San Francisco’s most vulnerable. Below are donors who made gifts of $10,000 to $100,000.
