Mi Casa Transitional Housing in Concord

Mi Casa provides housing and comprehensive case management that allows young adults who have emancipated from foster care to focus on becoming self-sufficient. Each participant creates obtainable goals with the support of the case manager, program team, and other supportive adults. Any barriers to achieving these goals are addressed in ways that encourage both short- and long-term success, such as establishing mental health treatment and community supports. The program works creatively to meet each person “where they’re at,” to reinforce individual strengths and to establish needed assistance including employment skills, financial literacy, and healthy living skills.
